"Manic Pixie Dream Girl" is an upcoming project in three parts by Brea Fournier & the Dream Ballet. The loose narrative follows Manic Pixie Dream Girl, a twentysomething sick and tired of living life as a film trope and object of the masculine gaze. Desperate for a shot at being the protagonist in her own story, Manic Pixie Dream Girl puts a feminist spin on this shallow archetype, walking us through her struggles with both self and wordly perception in the process.
